Description B&B Villa Padronale Lago Trasimeno
When we were planning the Villa Padronale Lago Trasimeno, our aim was to provide a peaceful and luxurious environment in which to relax during your stay.
The final result is a unique type of accommodation which combines the convenience of a self-catering apartment with the luxury and care of a hotel suite.
The villa is made up of six elegant suites, each one comprises a double bedroom, en-suite bathroom, lounge and kitchen, and each one enjoys breathtaking views over the surrounding Umbrian countryside.
All suites have been lovingly furnished with antique furniture and are designed to be as cool in the summer as they are cosy in the winter, making it the perfect getaway all year round.
The Villa has been designed for you to spend as much or as little time in as you wish: all the well equipped kitchens can either provide the perfect environment in which to get to grips with Tuscan and Umbrian cuisine or just a convenient place to keep your breakfast!
Equally, for some people, the large swimming pool with jacuzzi is just the perfect place for that invigorating early morning swim, for others it is a sun-drenched haven in which to while away those lazy summer afternoons and recharge their batteries.

Board is provided on a bed and breakfast basis, with breakfast being delivered to your suite at a time that suits you. Additional snacks and refreshments are available throughout the day and we have a long list of recommended local restaurants for you to try!Maybe you are looking for art, cuture and history. Perhaps you prefer outdoor excursions. Or maybe you just want to relax and enjoy some of the fantastic local food and wine. However you want to spend your holiday, Umbria has plenty to offer you!
Situated right in the centre of the Italian peninsula and known as "The Green Heart" of Italy, Umbria is blessed with some breathtaking natural resources making a perfect backdrop for hiking, horse riding or a round or two of golf.
Most of the towns, villages scattered on the region (often perched on top of hills) are home to imposing castles and basilicas. There are over 50 museums which house some of the most significant works of art from the medieval, renaissance and modern periods.
And ,how could you possibly forget the local culinary specialities?
From the chocolate of Perugia, to the roast pork in Norcia and the truffles in Gubbio. From the tasty wines of Orvieto and Torgiano and the superb olive oil, there really is something to suit everyone's taste.
